CAT / Greyhound Downtown Intermodal Transit Station - This project for Chatham Area Transit / Chatham County included the renovation of the existing Greyhound Station and the complete re-development of the site. The civil sitework included all new utilities for water, sewer and storm, paving, sidewalks, a new 14 bay covered CAT bus platform, 4 covered Grayhound bus bays, a trolley platform, and landscaping/gardens. CCS provided water and sewer utility design and construction management services.

Hesse K-8 School - This project for the Savannah Chatham County Public School System involved the demolition of the existing school and the construction of a new 145,500 SF school facility with gymnasium, athletic field, parking lot, sidewalks, and stormwater detention. The new school was built while keeping the existing school in place and transitioning the students within the same site. CCS provided civil site design and construction management services.

Coffee Bluff Marina - This project for the City of Savannah consisted of demolition of an existing building, boat hoist, dock and floating boat slips, and the construction of a new building, boat hoist, bulkhead, dock, boat slips, fishing pier, parking lot, and playground. The parking area utitlized asphalt paving and gravel in order to help with stormwater infiltration. CCS provided construction management services.

Savannah Gardens - This project for the City of Savannah consisted of demolition of an existing housing complex and rebuilding a new multi-use development with single family homes, apartments, playgrounds, parks, and a splash fountain. The multi-phase project included new water mains, sewer mains, storm system, sidewalks, curb and gutter,and gravel/paver/asphalt streets. CCS provided construction management services for this project.

Windsor Forest Gymnasium - This project for the Savannah Chatham County Public School System involved the construction of a new 28,000+ SF gymnasium with weight room and concession area. This facility required new water and sewer connections and additional stormwater detention. CCS provided the water and sewer design and construction management services.

Beach High School - This project for the Savannah Chatham County Public School System involved the construction of a new 1000 Student High School with gymnasium. This project also consisted of demolition of the existing school and an adjacent elementary school facility while preserving an existing gymnasium and media center. This facility required new water and sewer utilities, parking lot, sidewalks, and athletic fields. CCS provided the water and sewer design and construction management services.

Dredging Inspection IDIQ Contract, Mobile, AL - This contract with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineeers consists of a 5 year indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity, task order based contract for the Mobile District. CCS has held this contract for 3 consecutive terms. CCS provides field inspectors for dredging, disposal areas, dykes, levees, and other marine construction.

Container berth at Georgia Ports Authority on Savannah River, Savannah, GA

Construction Engineering Inspection, Districts 3 and 7 - These 3 year contracts with the Georgia Department of Transportation consisted providing field inspectors for roadway, bridge, culvert, and utility construction in the South Metro Atlanta and Columbus, GA areas. CCS inspectors provided quality control, assisted with measurement and payment for construction items, and also helped with traffic control/safety.

Godley Station K-8 School - This project for the Savannah Chatham County Public School System involved the construction of a new 1200 Student K-8 School with gymnasium. This project consisted of a 52 acre site which housed the 140,000+ SF school, baseball field, softball field, football/soccer field, parking lots, playgrounds, and stormwater detention ponds. CCS provided the water and sewer design and construction management services.

Crossroads Force Main Extension, Savannah, GA

Crossroads Force Main Extension - This project for the City of Savannah involved the construction of approximately 6,800 LF of 20" force main pipe. Approximately 1000 LF of this pipe was placed in a wetland area via directional bore using fusible PVC pipe. The project also consisted of upgrades to an existing lift station and several new valve assemblies. CCS provided construction management services.

Enmarket Savannah Arena –This project for the City of Savannah involved the development of the site and construction of the Savannah Arena including utilities and canal headwall. A new lift station and force main, along with the widening of Stiles Avenue were also included on this project. CCS provided construction management and engineering consulting services.

Travis Field Water Reclamation Facility EQ tank

Travis Field Water Reclamation Facility- This project for the City of Savannah involved site development and construction of a membrane bioreactor treatment plant with a 1.9 million gallon domed EQ tank. Also included were renovations to an existing lift station and construction of a three mile effluent line that required cooperation between the US Dept. of Defense, Georgia Ports, CSX, Norfolk Southern, GDOT, and multiple municipalities. CCS provided construction management services.

Brampton Road 48” Water Main Relocations – This City of Savannah project, as part of a larger GDOT Ports expansion project, required the installation of new sections of 48” water main to comply with installation underneath new GDOT roadways and railways. Microtunneling of 48” ductile iron water main in 72” steel casing was required beneath existing rail lines, and four 48” on 48” taps into existing city water supply were necessary. CCS provided construction management services.

Dredging Inspection IDIQ Contract, Savannah/Brunswick - This contract with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineeers consisted of a 3 year indefinite delivery, indefinite quantity, task order based contract for the Savannah District. CCS provided field inspectors for dredging, disposal areas, dykes, levees, and other marine construction.

Lift Station 23 Force Main Upgrade, Savannah, GA

Lift Station 23 Upgrade and Force Main Replacement – This project for the City of Savannah involved installation of new force main including a 6000 ft. directional drill of 30” FPVC in 36” steel casing reaching depths over 100 ft. below grade underneath Oglethorpe Avenue in downtown Savannah. CCS provided construction management services.

Waters Avenue Streetscape Improvements – This project for the City of Savannah involved the revitalization of Waters Avenue between Wheaton Street and Victory Drive. The project consisted primarily of sidewalk/crosswalk/landscaping construction and installation to beautify and create ADA compliance. Necessary storm water and utility improvements were also included. CCS provided construction management services.
